Missed Final Exams

Only extraordinary circ*mstances warrant a student being allowed to make up a missed final examination. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the faculty member before the scheduled exam to request permission to take a makeup exam. In the process of determining whether a makeup exam should be allowed, the burden of proof is on the student. The faculty member has the right to request verification of any excuse offered by the student.

If there is a conflict on the exam schedule, students are responsible for contacting their instructors prior to the scheduled exam time and arranging makeup time.
